Qualification Test Report

QTR

Section 10: Environmental Qualification (DO-160)

Definition

The formal document recording the results of environmental qualification testing, including test configuration, test conditions, measured data, pass/fail determinations, and any anomalies or deviations. The QTR provides the certification authority with evidence that the equipment meets its environmental qualification requirements as defined in the Equipment Qualification Test Plan.

Where This Shows Up

The QTR is a key certification deliverable and must provide complete and accurate traceability between the test requirements (specified in the Equipment Qualification Test Plan), the test procedures, and the test results. It must document the specific equipment serial numbers and configurations tested, the test facility and calibration status of test equipment, any deviations from the planned test conditions, and the disposition of any test anomalies or failures. The certification authority may review the QTR as part of the type certification data package and may require specific tests to be witnessed by an authority representative.
