Advisory circular research

Find FAA guidance by document number, subject and referenced regulations. Advisory circulars describe guidance and acceptable approaches; the applicable regulation and project approval basis determine what your team must demonstrate.

  1. Match the circular and change number to your certification or operating question.
  2. Review the source's cancellation and replacement references before relying on an earlier edition.
  3. Map the cited CFR sections to the actual aircraft, modification and compliance evidence for your project.
