For Aerostar models with a rear bench seat installed (Aerostar Option 88), install Option 278 per Option 278 Installation Instructions for Operation under BasicMed, Document 278-001, Revision N/C, approved August 17, 2017, or later FAA-approved revision, and Placard Drawing 030075, Revision N/C, approved August 17, 2017, or later FAA-approved revision to remove center restraint to limit the maximum occupancy of the aircraft to 6 occupants for operation under BasicMed.
