Modifies the aircraft to install the Cabin Maintenance Discrepancy Reporting System. This modification installs a laptop computer within a cabin partition, and allows flight attendants to record discrepant cabin items and print a list of them on the cockpit printer. The installation is in accordance with DAS-1-WE Approved United Air Lines Drawing List No. 00002 dated February 14, 1995, or later FAA approved revisions.

Remove (1) existing centerline video/coat closet and install (1) new centerline video/coat closet in B-Zone. Install (2) new centerline coat closets in D-Zone. This modification was accomplished in accordance with United Air Lines, DAS-1-WE, Approved Master Drawing List No. 00003, dated May 15, 1995, or later FAA approved revisions.

Convert 747-100 series aircraft to a two class (first and economy) aircraft with a seat count of 42F-408Y. Modification removes all Connoisseur Class seats in B and C zones and replaces them with re-pitched economy seats. Class dividers in C-zone are removed. One video projector in C-zone is removed, and the remaining projector in C-zone is relocated forward. First class seats are replaced and re-pitched. New first class seats have manual footrests vs. electric footrests on the old seats. Re-wire flight attendant call system and install a fourth PA amp. This modification was accomplished in accordance with United Air Lines DAS-1-WE Approved Master Drawing List No. 00015 dated March 5, 1996, or later FAA approved revisions.

A new upper deck aft bulkhead partition replaces the existing aft bulkhead partition. This new partition creates additional floor space that allows the upper deck seats to be relocated, thus providing increased bulkhead space for the first row of seats. The new partition consists of five (5) separate panels which are mounted at floor level on existing seat tracks with standard fittings. The upper portion of the partition is attached using existing structure on the frames and tie rods running to the top of the bulkhead. This modification was accomplished in accordance with United Air Lines DAS-1-WE Approved Master Drawing List No. 00016, dated March 5, 1996, or later FAA approved revisions.

Modifies the aircraft to remove two rows (eighteen seat places) of Recaro TSO-C127 seats from the forward economy class zone. The class dividers between business and economy classes will be relocated aft by 30/31 inches (outboard/inboard). The business class seats are increased in pitch from 48 to 55 inches (excluding rows 8 and 9). The six crew rest seats and curtain located within the economy class area will be relocated aft with the dividers. The remaining economy class seat rows forward of door three will be increased in pitch from 31 to either 34 or 35 inches. The remaining economy seats will not be affected. The final airplane seat configuration count will be 12F/49B/197Y. The installation is in accordance with DAS-1-WE Approved United Air Lines Master Document List No. 00934, dated December 12, 2000, or later FAA approved revisions. STC amended to relocate seat row 8 to increase the seat pitch between seat rows 8 and 9 from 48 inches to 53 inches. Also replaces the existing First Class/Business Class divider with a class divider that will provide sufficient distance to the new location of seat row 8. The final aircraft seat configuration count will be 12F/49B/197Y. The installation is in accordance with DAS-1-WE Approved United Air Lines Master Document List No. 00934, Revision A, dated February 19, 2001, or later approved revisions.
