Service Change #17 (UAL COA-0-1456) to provide an operational Aircraft Flight Data Rrecorder conforming to CAR Amendment 40-6, paragraph 40.208 with the following additions to assure recording of data during takeoff and landing roll: \na.\tRelay to provide automatic start of recording when nose landing gear reaches airborne condition on takeoff.\nb.\tTime delay relay to turn off recorder one minute after nose landing gear reaches "on ground" condition, on landing.\nc.\tInstallation of standard toggle switch on Systems Engineer's Console, to permit Second Officer to turn on recorder at start of takeoff run.\n2. Install Waste King Flight Data Recorder #5424, TSO-C51.
